Rob Baldwin, Founder of Vital Veterans Consultants
Rob Baldwin is a proud United States Navy veteran, lifelong public servant, and the passionate founder of Vital Veterans Consultants (VVC), a veteran-owned and operated organization dedicated to helping disabled veterans secure the VA disability benefits they’ve earned through service and sacrifice.
Rob’s journey of service began when he enlisted in the Navy, ultimately deploying to the Persian Gulf War where he served honorably for eight months. In 1993, following his military service, he made Jacksonville, Florida his home and began a new mission: empowering others through education, advocacy, and leadership.
Determined to uplift his community, Rob earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Jacksonville University, then transitioned into public education where he made a lasting impact on thousands of students. His leadership quickly became evident, from teaching mathematics at Northwestern Middle School to serving as Grade Level Chair, Content Lead, Math Coach, and Afterschool Program Director. Rob also played a critical role in designing the district-wide summer math curriculum for middle schools.
His commitment to excellence led him to earn a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from the American College of Education, graduating with a perfect 4.0 GPA. He continued his leadership journey as Math Lead and Dean of Students at Darnell Cookman School of the Medical Arts, and now serves as Assistant Principal at Mandarin High School, where his guidance has led to double-digit increases in student math proficiency.
Rob’s mission didn’t end with education. Drawing from his own experience as a disabled veteran, he founded Vital Veterans Consultants (VVC), a company driven by one core belief: no veteran should navigate the VA system alone.
Through VVC, Rob now serves those who have served, empowering fellow veterans to claim their rightful VA disability benefits, understand their rights, and maximize their compensation. His unique background as a veteran, educator, and leader enables him to connect personally with every client, offering guidance with compassion, clarity, and unwavering dedication.
